Is this a good Windows starting point?

The existing 1 GB plan guidance is intended for Linux and does not recommend Windows Server. Use the Windows page for suitable configurations.

What if the service outgrows 1 GB?

Compare a 2 GB base plan or review upgrades in checkout. Upgrade options are not counted as matching 1 GB inventory here.

Can I configure more RAM or storage?

The listed plans keep their original base specification and price. At checkout you can add up to 24 GB RAM and 400 GB drive capacity for an additional charge. Maximum totals are calculated from each plan’s included resources. An existing server needs a restart for RAM changes and filesystem expansion after a disk upgrade.

Which storage type do these plans include?
