Install your own services and manage the guest system. EDIS runs the host platform; patching, configuration, security and backups of your workloads remain your responsibility.
Use an available deployment image, a compatible Cloud-Init image or a Custom ISO with VNC. These are different installation paths, not interchangeable file formats.
CPU passthrough can expose host features such as AES-NI and AVX where supported. Confirm the selected host and guest settings before relying on specific instruction sets.
Allow RAM for concurrent processes and cache, disk for data and logs, and traffic for real transfers. Configure IPv6 using the assigned network details.
Check the facility, network and available plans on the existing location page.
EDIS lists Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS Stream and Arch templates. The distribution pages explain the available families and important release differences.
Yes. EDIS provides a Custom ISO workflow and VNC for manual installation. A compatible cloud disk image uses the separate Cloud-Init workflow.
Use the reinstall workflow after backing up your data and configuration. Reinstallation replaces the existing OS; plan migration and downtime first.
EDIS operates the host infrastructure and platform. You administer the guest OS, software, firewall, updates, application security and backups. These are self-managed VPS plans.
The listed plans keep their original base specification and price. At checkout you can add up to 24 GB RAM and 400 GB drive capacity for an additional charge. Maximum totals are calculated from each plan’s included resources. An existing server needs a restart for RAM changes and filesystem expansion after a disk upgrade.
